As a World Dating Partners affiliate you are paid on a commission basis, using a "recurring model." The recurring model is a program in which you earn a percentage of each initial payment made by a member of your site, PLUS a percentage of each recurring – or renewing – membership payment. The percentage you earn depends entirely on your number of daily registrations, and starts from 50% per initial payment and 25% per recurring. These percentages increase according to the amount of new members that you bring to your site, up to a maximum of 75% on initial payments and 45% on recurring. In certain instances we pay even higher percentages, which can be negotiated on a case by case basis. (All commissions are paid on the 1st day of every month, by either bank transfer or cheque, depending upon your preference).

Based on this commission structure, if you retain your members for life, and if they pay again after a year of being free members on your site, you still receive 25% to 45% commission from these sales. Many webmasters prefer this type of partnership/recurring program to other pay-per-sign-up offerings, because they recognise of course that this approach is a much more long-term opportunity, whereby they receive a predictable (and hopefully growing) monthly payment from the sponsor, rather than simply trying to "hook" new sales every month with the pay-per-sign-up model.

Let’s take a look at an example of typical earnings, assuming the average subscription cost for becoming a paid member of a dating site is US$35.00*. WDP deducts 5% of this amount upfront, to cover payment provider processing fees. Of the remainder, the partner receives 75% (or US$18.71) of the initial payment from the member, and 45% (or US$11.23) of every recurring payment. If the member renews for a further 3 months (which is the average retention rate of paid members) their recurring payments will amount to US$105.00, of which the partner receives US$49.87. So, over the course of 4 months (initial payment plus 3 months renewal payments) the partner’s earnings will total US$18.71 + $49.87 = US$68.58.

Compared to US$35.00 pay-per-sign-up commission (which is the industry average) this means that WDP partners earn almost double this amount on average. And remember, this figure can and is often much higher, because our superior sites encourage members to remain loyal for longer.

We do not reserve any of your earnings for possible charge-backs – we only deduct the exact amount of charge-backs if and when they take place.
